Intershoot was founded by Ryan Mills around 2004, initially selling on eBay and moving to a full e-commerce website in 2006
Target shooting since 1993, Ryan represented Northern Ireland cadets in fullbore rifle from 1994, and was part of the UK Army Cadet Rifle Team which toured Canada in 1995. A switch to smallbore rifle followed in the late 90s.
Ryan handles the day to day running of the business, and will often be the first point of contact for customers via the website or on the telephone. Outside of work Ryan is a keen runner and spends most weekends underneath a Land Rover, once owned by Sam.
Sam joined the company in 2009, and manages the firearms and ammunition side of the business. He is also Walther & Meyton trained so can work on and service their equipment.
Sam has been shooting smallbore rifle since 1988, starting in the Royal School Dungannon and has represented Northern Ireland up to Commonwealth Games level. Sam is a structural engineer, a fan of single malt whisky, and also finds time to look after a herd of award winning pure-bred cattle.
Gary has been an Intershoot ambassador of sorts since the beginning, but this arrangement has become more formal in recent times as he is now Walther & Meyton trained. An electrical engineer by trade, Gary will be assisting at our Meyton installations around the UK and Ireland.
Gary is a former Olympian, and Northern Irelands most decorated smallbore shooter. He draws on a wealth of experience gained over decades of shooting.
